A beach with waters turquoise color and a hammock hung between two palms,
a chef that offers lobster or fresh shrimps for the dinner with cocktails
to pleasure.
That is the slogan that a company of south Florida wants to sell to the travelers interested in an escape to the Caribbean to Haiti vacation... The Haiti Paradise.
"Visit Haiti. Don't pay attention to what sees in the journalists", Wilfrid Belfort of MWM & Associates in North Miami Beach says. "visits Haiti because you are the only one that can save at this time Haiti"
Belfort requests to the travelers that look beyond the problems in Port Prince and think of the rest of the country. Their company, property of a Haitian-American businessman, sees the increase of the tourism like the best opportunity to bolster its deteriorated economy and to achieve finally the political stability, a plan that the new president from Haiti also proposed in a conference about tourism in june in Florida, US.

"112 thousand tourists hardly visited last year Haiti, as long as 4 millions went to the Dominican Republic, the neighboring country in the same island of The Spaniard", the Haitian president René Preval said in the conference sponsored by MWM.
The company offers trips of four days to Haitian Cape on the north coast of Haiti, Cotes des Arcadins in the central coast, 12 miles stretch of coast has sandy beaches, with excellent scuba snorkeling & diving. Nestled among private beach houses are several lovely hotels: Ouanga Bay, Wahoo Beach, Moulin Sur Mer, Kyona Beach, Kaliko Beach, which hosts a colonial museum, and Club Med; and Jacmel e Ile-a-Vache on the south east, situated on a horseshoe bay. One of the packages hill 499 dollars for person, including the air tickets.

Theonne Amand participated in a tour of MWM in January. The balcony terrace of his hotel front to the beach of Jacmel and the guides introduced with local artists that prepared the masks for the celebrations of the carnival, with costumes, parades and dancing in the streets during February. Amand was born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, but he had never traveled to the south east coast.
"Everything was well, from the price up to the place
and the room", Armand said, a 50 year-old nurse that
now lives in Loxahatchee. "I felt that it was very,
very sure. What one hears doesn't happen in Jacmel. It is calm."
Other Jacmel tourists attractions are outside of town, along the newly paved road, are some of the South East's most picturesque beaches: Cyvadier, a tiny cove where the water is bioluminescent certain times a year, Raymond-les-Bains, a road-side beach, and Ti Mouillage, where one can rent charming beach houses. Exercise caution in the water, there is a powerful undertow. Jacmel is well worth the 2-3 hour excursion.
Bassin Blue, This series of deep natural pools and waterfalls can be reached by foot or horseback. The last km is somewhat steep, and at one point the aid rope is necessary. Fix a price for the horse and guide before leaving.
Belfort hopes the increase of the tourism attracts international investors as Royal Caribbean Cruises that takes tourists in trips for the day to its Beach Labadie private in the north of Haiti.
"If we has five Labadies, it would be different", Belfort said.
