Nemocon a great construction to 80 meters deep. During
the celebration of the Holly Week in Colombia, it is
ideal to know the bowel of the Earth.
To only 65 kilometers to the north of Bogota you arrive to the Nemocon town in the county of Savanna Centro, where the tourist discovers an authentic mine of underground salt.
With more than 500 years of history, the Mine of Salt of Nemocon is constituted in one of the most beautiful experiences inside what Colombia can offer in tourist matter: a world full with culture, history and fun in the most imposing construction to 80 meters deep.

But there it doesn't finish this adventure. Then you arrive to the well of the desires and of there to the room of the Chapel of Salt, where you will be able to revive the mining tradition with their enormous sphere carved in rock of salt of 1.300 karats.

The underground trip will also allow him to travel the city of the
stalactites, the well San Juan, the saturation tanks,
the Santa Barbara tank, a natural mirror of brine 15
meters long.
The mine opens up every day. Every day, of nine of the morning at five of the afternoon, the Mine of Salt of Nemocon is open to the public.
The entrance rate is of $5 dollars for adult and $2.4 dollars for
children, people with incapacities and bigger adults. Among the complementary
services they offer recreation workshops, of pasta of salt and of marble
work, to $0.90 dollars for person, for workshop. The municipality has
excellent restaurants with offer for all the likes.
