How to Get to the Chilean Patagonia

Argentina Patagonia Map

To travel to Chile, do not need a visa, only a passport. The LAN airline flies directly from your capital city and Santiago, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. There are also daily flights, with a stopover in Lima. You Must take thermal clothing for the cold weather, skin protection creams, comfortable shoes and a cocktail dress for the farewell party at the Cruise.

Upon arrival in Santiago of Chile there are daily flights to Punta Arenas, lasting four and half hours with a stop in Puerto Mont. Then you will be boarding a bus to travel nearly 247 miles to Puerto Natales, where the cruise ship Skorpios III will be expecting you.

Around this time, the departures are scheduled from 2, 9, and December 16 as a mid-season. The high season begins with cruises on 23 and 30 of December; 6,13,20 and 27 January and February 3,10,17 and 24.

Additional information can be obtained by visiting www.skorpios.cl. Or calling the telephone (56-2) 4771900, in Santiago, Chile.

An unforgettable experience where the traveller can be found in front with the remnants of the ice age. A total different cruise, full of contrasts.

The landscape constantly change colors. From intense red to blue sky and turquoise and from white to green in the mountains.

Puerto Eden is a hamlet located on the island of Wellington and has 284 inhabitants.

At the end of the world is the city of Punta Arenas, on the shores of the Strait of Magellan, 3,000 kilometers from Santiago.
