At 7 km away from Rio Ceballos, you will find a typical mountain village. Located in the path of Sierras Chicas, is Salsipuedes.
The name in English means “go out if you can” and its particular name has gave by the Captain Juan de Burgos in 1584 when he observed the beauty of the place and said, “go out-if-you can of this beautiful place.”
In 2004 the city celebrated its 400 years of life, the origin of it dates back to 1604, when Captain Juan de Burgos died and left in his will that the ranch was administered Salsipuedes by his descendants.
But if we talk about stories we can tell the legend of the origin of the name of the City in another incident many years before. They say that a slave and a native would have killed a monk. In their escape one hid in a flat area and another in the mountains. Over the years, the story passed from mouth to mouth and a little pepper in the legend made it possible for locals Salsipuedes as indicating the name of the people.
Spas
Salsipuedes has different rivers crossing the Chicas hill to reach the area Estancita, which saves a natural slope with a jump of 13 feet: Jump The Estancita.
Many of the locations that cross the river, have used the flow of the water and the geography of the place to create, based on this combination, spas, small natural pools and recreation areas.
Lady of the Rosary of Miracle Church
Is located in the center of Salsipuedes. The original chapel was built in 1828, before being replaced by a new in 1870, with the last renovation in 1909.
